2017 Samantha Garrison

Samantha A. Garrison resides in Rockcreek Township with her husband, John R. Garrison, and daughter, Lily. Graduating from Delphi Community High School followed by Purdue University, she has spent most of her life as a member of the Carroll County Community. Along with Lily, she also has three adult step-children, Kerisa Fuller (husband Shawn) of Lafayette, Indiana, Keaton Garrison (Fiancé Julia Gish) of Delphi, and Makayla Wolfe (Husband Chris) of Columbus, Indiana. She and John are blessed with seven grandchildren, as well.

Garrison is an employee of the Carroll County Farm Service Agency, USDA. She has worked with the agency for 14 years. Her accolades while working there include; being a Key Program Technician, being honored as a recipient of the FSA Administrator Award for Support to Agriculture, serving as the membership chair for the National Association of County FSA Employees, membership chair for the Midwest Area, and the membership chair for the Indiana Association of County FSA Employees. She continues to lead GIS trainings through the state, along with cross training co-workers to ensure the producers receive the best service when they enter the office.

As a member of the Carroll County Community, Garrison has remained active by serving as a member of the Carroll County Ag Association, volunteering at Ag Day, volunteering at Earth Day, participating in the community Christmas Basket project, and previously serving on the 4-H Beef Committee. She also completed the Annie Project and participated in the Carroll County Focus on the Future.
When Garrison is not at work or participating in various activities in the community, you may find her on the farm, at a tractor pull with her family, in the garden, out biking, or doing a craft. She is grateful for the time she gets to spend with her husband, children, and grandchildren, because these are the things she loves and the activities she enjoys doing.
