Natural Resources Conservation Service Seeking Conservation Stewards in Carroll County
Together with the Farm Journal Foundation, the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) announced a new joint conservation effort called America’s Conservation Ag Movement. This movement will educate farmers in watersheds across the country about soil health, managing nutrients, grazing, precision agriculture, and water quality.
The Middle Wabash Watershed in Indiana is one of five watersheds across the countries to pilot the program.
The NRCS is seeking 1-3 Conservation Stewards, ideally with extensive experience farming in Carroll County. A complete description of the role and responsibilities can be found here.
