INFB Drainage School 2018

“Understanding Laws that Impact Drainage Decisions,” a seminar focusing on Indiana drainage issues, will take place Aug. 22 at Indiana Farm Bureau’s headquarters in Indianapolis.

The seminar is open to farmers, public officials, agency personnel, attorneys and members of the public. Continuing education credits will be offered for attorneys and surveyors.

This year’s program includes sessions on railroads and drainage easements, drainage in INDOT rights-of-way, legally removing obstructions, licensing requirements for maintenance spraying and federal permitting requirements.

Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. and the program runs from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The cost is $50 for INFB members and $100 for non-members.
