Empowering Farm Women – February 26 and March 12
Empowering Farm Women is a program that brings farm women together to increase their management skills for today’s agriculture businesses.
Many farm women are currently managing some or all aspects in many farming operations. This
program brings ladies together to explore and share management strategies to improve their farm business.
Session 1 – February 26 – 6-8 pm – Increasing Farm Income – Adding to the Existing Enterprise
This session will focus on opportunities to increase farm income. Specifically, it will address how to add income to an existing enterprise and how to successfully bring another member of the family into the operation.
Session 2 – March 12, 6-8 pm – Strategies and Tools for Commodity Marketing Success
This session will focus on commodity marketing and will provide participants with strategies for success in their marketing programs. It will also explain marketing tactics for the current economic conditions in agriculture
Both sessions will be held at the Carroll County Event and Education Center/4H Building in Flora
