Carroll County Annual Meeting and Hall of Fame Banquet – March 3
Please join us on Monday, March 3th* at the Delphi United Methodist Church for the induction ceremony of the 2014 Class to the Carroll County Agriculture Hall of Fame. Please join us in welcoming this year’s recipients, Rhonda Hicks and Carroll County Tire.
The evening will kick off at 6:00 PM with a delicious meal and all the trimmings prepared by The Delphi United Methodist Women. The CCAA will conduct the business meeting.
Our featured speaker is Katie Stam Irk, 2009 Miss America, sponsored by Midwest Ag Finance.
CCAA will be awarding Scholarships to two outstanding High School Seniors and two college students will be receiving their Scholarship money from the previous year.
It will be a great evening of food and fellowship. Tickets are $10.00 each. To reserve your seats for the banquet, please clip and mail your money to the CCAA before March 1.
Again this year, we are asking for your generous support for the Carroll County 4-H Exhibit Board, which now receives very little County funding for the Fair. With your help, we hope to give $2,500 to the Exhibit Board with your donations and by accepting donations in lieu of door prizes for the Annual Meeting. This will allow the Ag Association to sponsor a full day of the Carroll County 4-H Fair. If you would like to contribute to the CCAA Day sponsorship, please complete the form on the next page.
Don’t forget to send in your membership dues along with the banquet reservations. If you aren’t a member, please consider joining us. Members are included on the email distribution network to get information and the opportunity to participate in the many activities, educational programs, and community events.
NOTE: In the event of bad weather, the snow date will be March 10. If canceled, noticed will be sent via the CCAA email distribution list.
