Purdue Extension and The Andersons To Host Prospective Plantings Outlook Luncheon March 30
March 30th from 12:00 – 1:30 PM, Purdue Extension – Carroll County and The Andersons will host the Prospective Plantings Outlook Luncheon at The Andersons facility in Delphi.
Dr. Chris Hurt and Dr. Corinne Alexander, Purdue University agricultural economists, will be available by webinar and will help farmers and agribusinesses make sense of the annual U.S. Department of Agriculture Prospective Plantings and Grain Stocks report.
This report is the first to indicate what U.S. farmers intend to plant and has the potential to have a major impact on new crop prices as U.S. corn stocks continue to be extremely tight.
The webinar will offer analysis and market strategies for producers heading into the 2012 crop season. Please RSVP to Ben Stoller, Account Representative with The Andersons, at 574-737-2493.
If you have any questions, contact Andrea Brown at the Purdue Extension – Carroll County office at 765-564-3169.
