CCAA – Letter to IN Lawmakers about Property Tax Cap

At the January 17 CCAA Member Meeting, we discussed the concerns and problems with the proposed Indiana Constitutional Amendment regarding a cap on property taxes.  The members expressed concern that this proposed cap would be very unfair to farmers and business people who own both real property and personal property (because the tax will also apply to your personal property taxes).  The Members asked that a letter be sent to our Indiana legislators stating our position on the matter.

At the Committee meetings on Tuesday, February 17, the letter will be available for members to sign.
