Christmas Basket Project

It’s the time of year again where we are reminded of the many things we have to be thankful for.

As in previous years, the CCAA would like to help with the Community Basket Project by donating ground pork for people in need.

What we need from you is the donation of a hog to be butchered and ground to contribute ground pork from the Ag Association for the baskets.  Cash donation are also appreciated as we will purchase meat from Indiana Packers for the baskets.  Our goal is to provide 3,000 pounds of meat this year.

Letters will be in the mail soon as a reminder about this project.  Hogs need to be taken to the Burlington Locker Plant on December 6 – 7 during certain hours, or additional arrangements need to be made.  See the letter for more details.

Monetary donations should be sent before December 5th. Checks can be made out to the Carroll County Ag Association, and sent to:

CCAA, PO Box 62, Flora, IN 46929

We wish you a joyous holiday season and thank you for your generous donations.  We are thankful to be able to make it a wonderful holiday season for our community.
