REMC Live Line Demo – November 22

Carroll County REMC is pleased to announce that Kyle Finley’s presentation, Live Line Demo, will be at the Carroll Jr./Sr. High School and Delphi Community High School on November 22, 2010. He will be at Carroll Jr./Sr. High School at 9:15 a.m. and Delphi Community High School at 2:10 p.m. The events will be held at the main gym for both schools.

REMC encourages you to attend this important event. Kyle’s presentation focuses on the subjects of how to protect yourself or someone else from injury or death when around electricity. Some of the issues he discusses are what to do if you are in a car accident that involves electricity. He talks about the safety precautions that need to be considered when dealing with electricity near pools. He also covers many other safety issues that would be beneficial for people in the community to know.

Kyle’s program is a high energy program. The display he uses is constructed with the same poles, transformers, and line hardware used by your local utility to assist you in understanding the electrical system.

Please join us at the special event. We look forward to seeing you there. If you have any questions please contact Peg Minnicus at Carroll County REMC.
