Pork Producers Call to Action – HSUS Egg Bill puts American Agriculture in Jeopardy

From your National Pork Producers Council:

HSUS (Humane Society of the United States – an anti-meat activist group) is attempting to pressure the Senate Agriculture Committee to pass the Egg Bill that sets a dangerous precedence for the U.S. Pork industry and all of livestock. If passed it opens a gateway for HSUS to add legislation dictating how to house all livestock. The National Pork Producers Council launched this video in opposition to the bill. Please take a moment and view the video, then contact the Senate Ag Committee and let them know you oppose the federal legislation sponsored by HSUS.

Call the Senate Ag Committee at 855-723-2847 and let them know you and NPPC  oppose the HSUS Egg Bill.

Feedback is always important.  The National Pork Producer’s Council asks that you contact Bryan Humphreys, at Bryan Humphreys email or 515-278-8012 to let him know you have made the phone call.

Please refer to the attached document prior to contacting your elected officials to familiarize yourself with the information regarding this issue.
